Musée historique de Tracadie

This is the only museum in Canada to tell the story of a 19th-century leprosarium. Through the lazaretto, we discover the admirable work of the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph who, in addition to caring for lepers, were pioneers in health care, education, culture and charity.
